Ninja Classes for kids are group training sessions that revolve around completing set obstacle courses.
If you are looking for new ways to keep your kids active during the school holidays, beyond the usual sports camps then the Ninja classes for kids at My First Gym could be the experience for you!
Perfect for kids with loads of energy, this Ninja Warrior Camp is where your kids can leap, tumble, and swing their way through an obstacle course.
My First Gym also offers a Ninja Nerf Camp featuring team activities like capture the flag and ninja training with Nerf weapons.
Both of these Ninja classes are fun and engaging ways to keep your kids active during the holidays.
The My First Gym mission is to get kids active and healthy with an introduction to the gym environment, through fun and engaging activities. The Ninja classes for kids are just one avenue with which they do this. They also offer martial arts, boxing, dance, gymnastics, yoga, parkour, cheer as well as age specific gym programs.
Our Ninja Warrior and Ninja Nerf camps offer kids a fun way to stay active during school holidays. Held in top-notch facilities and led by professional coaches, these programs help children:

Your child will have an exciting, active time in either Ninja Warrior or Ninja Nerf. The camps are generally for 3-6 hours and are for children 5 and up. All age groups are catered for within the same camp so siblings can be dropped off together. These classes are a great way to meet new buddies these school holidays and have a heap of fun being a Ninja!
There are many benefits to a Ninja style exercise program. When you are tumbling, running, climbing and scaling walls your whole body is working. This means Ninja classes develop core strength, balance and both upper and lower body strength.
Ninja classes improve speed, agility, and endurance through challenging obstacle courses. Kids push themselves to beat their previous times while staying focused, developing these skills as they train. These skills can give kids advantages and benefits in other sports as well.

The main goal in ninja classes is simple: complete the obstacle course as quickly as possible. As children master new obstacles or challenges they once struggled with, their confidence grows. They learn to trust themselves and challenge negative thinking like “I can’t do this”. Kids learn what doesn’t work and find another way around the problem. In this practice they learn that failure is the road to success. If they can’t do one challenge at first, they find another way. This mindset is crucial as an adult and separates those who are high achievers from those who are not.
Some kids don’t like competing or competitive sports. Exercise to them means playing in a team sport and if they are not good at this it can lead kids to feel like they are inferior or not good enough. Ninja classes are different. It’s between you and the course. It’s about setting your own goals and the coaches assist each student in the way they need to achieve their goals.
